Wise words from Maya Angelou
Remember this because it will happen many times in your life.
When people show you who they are the first time believe them.
Not the 29th. time.
When a man doesn’t call you back the first time, when you are mistreated the first time, when someone shows you lack of integrity or dishonesty the first time, know that this will be followed many many other times, that will some point in life come back to haunt or hurt you. Live your life in truth.
Don’t pretend to be someone your not.
You will survive anything if you live your life from the point of view of truth.

Researchers Discover A Herb That Can Kill Cancer Cells In 48 Hours
A popular “weed” growing right in front of you and or maybe in your backyard might be the best cancer-fighting substance in this world.
Recent studies done in Windsor University in Canada discovered that the dandelion root might be particularly efficient in healing and or even preventing cancer, much more than the immune system-destroying chemotherapy.
Particularly, as mentioned by the university in the press release, the researchers are extremely confident that they have discovered the proper dosage of extract for effective cancer treatment. They are planning clinical trials using a specifically developed dandelion tea.
Dr. Siyaram Pandey, a biochemist and the leader of the Research at the Windsor University, along with his other researchers, have demonstrated effectively in the laboratory just how dandelion root extracts affect cancer cells, deals with apoptosis or even cell suicide while leaving the healthy cells undamaged. “This specific is excellent news.” said Pandey” We have been awaiting this particular declaration for a very long time and also right now this is authentic.”
Destroyed almost all cancer cells in 2 days
The February 2015 statement holds a unique significance for the project that had been devoted to the memory of Kevin Couvillon, who died after a three-year struggle with severe myeloid leukemia in Nov 2010. The next year, his parents Dave with Donna Couvillon gave a big contribution to Doctor Pandey’s research for the organic extracts and probable cancer treatment.
“We highly sense that Kevin will want all of us to carry on combating cancer to ensure that other people will be able to escape this type of cruel fate,” Donna Couvillon said. “Natural medicine enables a person’s personal immune system to be part of the curing procedure, and we all wholeheartedly assist this particular endeavor and also the outstanding research made by this exact team.”
The dandelion root formulation used in the Pandey’s Lab is about 5 times more focused compared to the extracts which can be bought above the counter. It continues to be tested to defeat cancer cells of pancreatic, melanoma, leukemia in the lab mice. Oncologist “Caroline Hamm” at WRCC (Windsor Regional Cancer Center), created a program to the Health Canada in 2012 to check out human clinical trials. “It is massive; this happens to be a huge accomplishment“ claims Dave Couvillon. “To see it taking place is the very first step. Right now we are keeping our fingers crossed so that we may get the appropriate outcomes.
The University of Windsor’s website for Dandelion Root Project describes their experience as follows: At the beginning of this particular project, we were capable of effectively evaluating the impact of dandelion root extract on numerous cancer cells in the laboratory. We noticed the effective opposition to pancreatic and also colon cancers, chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, human being’s leukemia (T-cell), without any level of toxicity to the noncancer cells. All these efficacy researches happen to be tested in the models of animal (mice), and the same is expected of human cells with colon cancer.Clinical trials have been started for thirty patients, almost all of whom have experienced all kinds of cancer therapy options.
Health Benefits of Dandelion
Dandelions has got some other health advantages too. Dandelion greens consist of essential minerals and vitamins like potassium, manganese, magnesium, folate, iron, calcium, vitamin C, riboflavin, thiamine, and vitamin B6. They contribute nearly 535% of recommended everyday consumption of the vitamin K, above 110% of the recommended daily consumption of the vitamin A. It contains flavonoids like cryptoxanthin and zeaxanthin which have got specific healing properties. Zeaxanthin appears to protect the retina while facing sun’s UV rays and the cryptoxanthin may protect the body from the growth of lung and mouth cancer.

This Short Visual Test Will Determine Your Greatest Strength
Every single person in the world has their very own unique personality, there will never be anyone else like you and that is a very important thing to keep in mind.
Of course, you can definitely have a lot in common with someone else's personality, but that doesn't necessarily make that person the same thing as you.
We all have our own dominant and weaker traits to our personalities so it would only make sense that the majority of us excel in the things that resonate most with us.
Sometimes you may even discover that your greatest strength is something that you and your family have shared for generations and that is why you are the way that you are now.
Although you are compiled up of various different qualities, only one of them outshines the rest and there is a really good reason as to why that is. So, what do you think your greatest quality is? Is it your intelligence? Is it your literal strength? Is it your creativity?
You must dig deep within yourself to find the answer to these questions. If you are already so aware of your emotions, then maybe that is your strength.
It's good to keep an open mind as to what is and what is not when it comes to figuring out your strengths and weaknesses are. You might even surprise yourself with what you come up with in the end.
Try to think about the others you have met throughout life, think about their strengths and weaknesses. Of course, there isn't any competition when it comes to your personality, it's more of like seeing if there are any other ways that you can improve yourself.
There is always going to be room for improvement, but let's start with what drives you the most in your personality.
Before you take the quiz, try to think about all of your qualities, all of your downfalls, all of the things that need improvement. There you will find the answer and it will be glowing the more you draw closer to it.
8 Signs Telling Your Headache Could Be More Dangerous Than You Think
Headaches: Most people get them at least once in awhile, and some people get them quite often.
Normally they go away, and no harm is done. However, if your headache shows any of these 8 signs, your headache could be more dangerous than you might think. You should consult a doctor if you show these signs!
1. A First Headache, Which is Disruptive with Vision Impairment
Giant cell arteritis (GCA), or temporal arteritis, is a disorder in which the arteries of your head, especially those running through your temples, become inflamed. If you’ve never had a headache before, but suddenly find yourself with an incredibly painful one that disrupts your daily routine, it could be a sign of GCA.
According to a 2008 study published in the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology, if your headache is accompanied by visual disturbances, it could also be a sign of GCA. This headache is a throbbing, persistent headache which usually occurs in the upper neck, behind your eyes, or at the back of your head. If left untreated, it can lead to blindness and stroke, so please see a doctor if you think you have it!
2. Progressive Headache with One-Sided Numbness and Weakness
You heart pumps blood to your brain through your arteries, which the brain utilizes for basic functions. Once those functions are finished, the brain sends the blood back to the heart through channels called venous sinuses. These sinuses can be clogged, causing a condition called cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). CVT can lead to an accumulation of blood and subsequent bleeding in and around the brain. This is very bad – it can cause strokes.
A persisting headache with symptoms which worsen over a few days (up to a week or more) could be CVT. A headache is the most common symptom of CVT, according to a 2004 study published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry. One of its defining characteristics is weakness and numbness on one side of the head, down to the shoulders and arms.
3. A Headache with a Stiff Neck
Meningitis can be a fatal disease, and is often accompanied by a headache with a shooting pain and a stiff neck. Ninety-five percent of meningitis patients reported a headache, stiff neck, fever and mental disorientation as the primary symptoms, according to a 2004 study published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
4. A Headache after Risky Sexual Behavior
If you have a headache following sex, be careful. Headaches are the primary and most persistent symptom of HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus. Additionally, secondary headaches like sinus headaches usually mean HIV that has progressed, damaging the immune system and allowing diseases to strike.
5. A Headache with Neck & Face Pain
You carotid arteries, which are found along the sides of your neck, can become torn. This allows blood inside and fills the space between the arteries. It separates them, an issue called carotid artery dissection (CAD). That blood then clots, and eventually this leads to a stroke. The common symptoms of CAD are sudden, intense headaches and neck pain.
6. Thunderclap Headache
A thunderclap headache is one that strikes suddenly like a lightning bolt, accompanied by intense pain within 60 seconds. They usually persist for up to an hour. Thunderclap headaches are a symptom of a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a potentially fatal condition which results in swollen brain arteries. Think “the worst headache of my life”. You may also be nauseous and even vomit.
7. Headaches During or After Sex
There are a few types of sexual headaches. You might experience one at the peak of sexual arousal, which is usually nothing to worry about. (But still see a doctor!) The next kind is a throbbing pain that happens close to when you orgasm. It could feel like the thunderclap headache you learned about – sudden and painful. This could be a sign of hemorrhage, stroke, or a tumor.
8. Headache After an Injury
A headache suffered within 10 days following an injury may be a concussion. While this isn’t normally fatal, it can be a huge pain to those who suffer from it – both physically and emotionally. You may experience loss of consciousness, memory loss, and impaired vision.
These 8 headaches are definitely cause for seeing a doctor. If you’re experiencing them now, or have just experienced them recently, go see your doctor right away!

The Crazy Side Effect Of Getting Tattoos That No One Knows About
It's 2016, and having tattoos has become more common than being bare-skinned. I myself have several tattoos including a three-quarter sleeve on my left arm. I got my first tattoo when I turned 18 and really only stopped a few years ago. So, why did I stop when getting tattoos is so fun?
My wake-up call:
After becoming trained in functional medicine, a means of seeking the root cause of a client's symptoms or chronic conditions through extensive analysis, I decided to get a full workup done. This included a stool analysis and routine blood work to learn more about my health. I wasn't expecting to see anything alarming, but when I received the results of my blood tests, I cried. I thought I was living a healthy lifestyle, but my blood work revealed liver enzymes that were that of someone in liver failure. I was terrified.
What scared me even more was that generally I felt pretty good. Aside from having some moderate hiving on my skin (not just in the areas of my tattoos) and a history of anxiety, I had never had any major health concerns.
Heavy metal — in my liver:
When uncovering more details through a hair analysis for heavy metals, we found that my body's toxic load was through the roof. Because I had written off toxic personal products and processed foods years ago, I decided to stop getting tattoos and go through a heavy-duty detox process. This included swearing off alcohol, using herbal chelation, and incorporating liver support herbs like milk thistle and dandelion to support removal of the heavy metals in my system. My liver enzymes returned to normal after only a few months.
In the following months and years, in my practice we saw many others who, like me, shared an extremely overburdened liver in correlation to their number of tattoos. Unfortunately metals like mercury, iron, arsenic, lead, and cadmium help to give tattoo ink its color and permanency factor. Carbon black and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, a sootlike product and a known pollutant, are often the main ingredients in black ink.
Toxic tattoos—what to avoid:
Exposure to these metals and toxins can place an extreme burden on the liver and the other detox organs. Studies show that the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons have been found stored in the lymph nodes of tattooed people causing them to actually turn black. Many of the heavy metals, like lead and mercury, are also considered to be neurotoxins that can affect cognitive function and cause brain fog, fatigue, and many other symptoms. While the damage of these toxins individually to our health is well-studied, the research on the long-term effects of tattoos is still in its infancy.
If you choose to get tattoos, speak to your tattoo artist about the safest, most nontoxic products available. Some color inks use vegetable-based pigment from spices like turmeric instead of a high dose of heavy metal. While these products do exist, your artist may have to special-order them.
If you suspect that you've been exposed to high levels of toxins or heavy metals, seek the professional help of a functional medicine practitioner to help you safely detox. Our skin is our body's largest organ. Just like clean eating, what we put on our skin is equally important. It goes straight to our bloodstream and throughout our entire body — it's easy to block or forget about this, but it'll affect your health just as much as what you eat.

7 Highly Attractive Habits (That Have Nothing To Do With Appearance)
Our looks are more than just a our physical expressions. A person can have the most beautiful of features, but their personality is so selfish or greedy or cruel or whatever negativity that person carries with them paints their features.
You too, project your inner self with your thoughts and intentions. Below we've gathered some ways to project all the unique inner beauty you have stored away!
Confidence
It's the most universally acknowledged and shared turn on. Doesn't matter your sex, culture, age or race, confidence is a must and the best plus. We want a confident partner because we want to be with a strong and capable person.
It's OK if you aren't the most confident person ever, it's important that you be able to know your strengths and weaknesses. The advice on confidence is fake it till you make it. This is good advice but don't try to hard to be something you're not. Be careful to not be full of yourself or shit either.
Sexual Sincerity And Openness
When we are with someone sexually: nude, exposed, expressing ourselves on so many levels, it's important to keep it simple and honest. Be yourself, prepared to accept and love your partner.
If you two don't express yourselves, what you want, what you fear, what you enjoy, the development of you and your relationship will be slow and painstaking. Let it be a freeing, compassionate, and revealing expression between the two of you.
Humor
Laughter is an essential part of life. Cultivate it, share it, enjoy it, and seek it. Life is infinite and amazing. We need to be reminded to loosen up and enjoy what we can.
With humor we can face normally painful or difficult parts of life or yourself. We can brighten a bleak attitude or stack joy on someone's happiness. This trait is one of the top three that I really value in my partner.
Passion
What is life without passion? I hope to never personally know! Sometimes we feel lackluster or severely energetic. Being passionate doesn't mean that you go ham or full throttle 24/7, it means you care.
You care deeply for the other person and your relationship. You are willing to do whatever is necessary to be happy and bring happiness to those you love and respect.
Be Decisive
You don't have to have all the answers, but your answers are never as awful as 'I don't know' or 'Whatever you want to'. If asked a question don't deflect it. If you can't answer it directly or specifically, then explain what's going on.
Kindness
Once you really start comfortably expressing a majority of these traits this one will come naturally. It's important that you feel comfortable in your skin and voice. You won't have 'your' look picked out on the first day, it's a constantly evolving image.
Accept Your Partner's Friends, Or At Least Make The Sincere Effort
Don't try to force a friendship between you and your partner's friends. Don't disrespect or pander to them. Continue to be yourself and support your partner. The focus is always making sure the two of you feel supported by each other.

Dad’s Bad Mood Can Seriously Affect Children’s Development, Study Finds
“Whoever does not have a good father should procure one.” ~Friedrich Nietzsche
Hundreds of studies have solidified the fact that a father’s love is just as important to a child’s development as a mother’s, and sometimes more so…
Research has proven emphatically that, overall, the love — or rejection — of mothers and fathers affects kids’ behavior, self-esteem, emotional stability, and mental health. According to Ronald P. Rohner, Ph.D., director of the Center for the Study of Parental Acceptance and Rejection at the University of Connecticut, in some cases, the withdrawal of a father’s love, acceptance and presence seems to play a bigger role in their children’s’ problems with personality and psychological adjustment, delinquency, and substance abuse. And of course the transverse is also true. The presence of a father’s love boosts children’s sense of well-being and improves their emotional and physical health. …But this is common knowledge. Most people are aware and do recognize the impacts a father has on his children.
Dad’s mental state directly affects his children
Scholars from Michigan State University (MSU) conducted a study and their findings not only underscore the importance of a father’s role in the lives of his children, but it went on to to prove that dad’s overall mental state and moods have short and long term, direct effects on his children.
In the study, MSU researchers collected data from about 730 families that participated in a survey of Early Head Start programs at sites across the nation. The researchers focused their attention on discovering effects of parents’ stress and mental health problems such as depression and anxiety on their children. They found that parents stress levels and mental health issues affected how they interact with their children and, subsequently, their child’s development.
One of the most surprising findings derived from this study is that a father’s mental health has long-lasting implications that directly correlate to differences in children’s social skills (such as self-control and cooperation) by the time children reached fifth grade. In fact, a father’s depression during the toddler years is more influential on the development of a child’s social skills later in life, than are a mother’s depression or anxiety.
The study also highlighted the fact that a father’s parenting-related stress levels have a particularly harmful effect on his children’s cognitive and language development when the children are 2 to 3 years old—even in the presence of a mother’s’ positive influences. As might be expected, the father’s’ influence appears to have a stronger effect on boys’ language than girls’ language.
These empirical, evidence-based findings are a poignant reminder that every father has a responsibility to take care of his own psychological well-being in order to nurture and foster the well-being of his children.
One uplifting and positive thing that comes from this study is that we now have solid, scientific proof that dads do play as significant a role in raising children as mothers do, and that their piece of the family puzzle is crucial in helping a child learn and grow properly.
Changing dad’s mood
Parenting is a daunting and stressful undertaking–no two ways about it. Especially for new parents. Below are some ways for dad to minimize the negative impacts his foul mood can have on his kids:
- Accept the fact that you will feel stressed — Understanding and accepting that stress is a part of child rearing is key to helping reduce its impact on your mood. If you expect it and prepare for it–you can proactively minimize it’s effects on your mood and it can reduce the number of outwardly negative reactions you display.
- Learn your triggers and work to de-stress as quickly as possible— Learning and becoming in tune with yourself is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Find out what situations, thoughts or moments cause you the most stress. Can they be avoided? What can you do to avoid or minimize these moments? Take some “dad time” and engage in activities that lower your stress levels–engage in a sport or hobby, take quiet time away, take a walk on the beach or engage in forest bathing.
- Get help — If you are feeling overwhelmed or have a history of depression, anxiety or mental illness be sure to seek professional help. It is imperative for you and for your children. Consider the “airplane safety model.’ During the flight attendant’s safety speech, you are instructed to put your own oxygen mask on first and then help those around you don theirs. The message here is that you can’t help others breathe if you are suffocating.

8 DIY Recipes To Turn Your Bathroom Into An At-Home Spa
Today, stress is an unavoidable part of most lives. Our days are so packed that it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle and not make time for things that make us happy. But it's important to take some time out of your schedule to just relax and pamper yourself.
One way to do this while saving time and money is to have a home spa day. You could even invite some friends over and catch up while pampering yourselves. Read on for some great recipes that help you unwind and refresh your body and mind:
1. Rejuvenating Facial Steam
The benefits of facial steaming are well-known. Regular steaming prevents clogged pores, which contribute to acne and pimples. It also increases circulation, helps remove toxins, and promotes relaxation. Steaming also makes your skin more receptive to other treatments, so it is ideal to begin your spa day with this.
For a refreshing steam, pour hot water into a large bowl, drape a towel over your head, and let your skin absorb the steam. For added skin care benefits, add some loose-leaf green tea leaves, mint, or rosemary into the water. You could even add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. This will cleanse skin deeply and also hydrate it.
5. Rosemary Lavender Body Scrub
This is a luxurious body scrub that can help you relax and unwind. Lavender essential oil is widely used in aromatherapy for its calming aroma. Epsom salts are a gentle exfoliator that makes skin soft, while coconut oil is a great moisturizer and helps relieve dry, itchy skin.
Ingredients
- 10-15 drops lavender essential oil
- 2 cups Epsom salts
- 1 cup coconut oil
- Sprig of fresh rosemary
Method
Mix all the ingredients together. Apply the scrub using wide, circular motions with strong, even pressure. Shower off, pat skin dry, and apply your favorite body lotion.
6. Spa Treatment Shower Therapy
A long hot bath can be a wonderful way to relax. But what if you live in a house without a tub or have limited time? You can still relax and get all the aromatherapy benefits through shower therapy.
To try this, first choose an essential oil. Citrus scents such as lemon, tangerine, or grapefruit are uplifting. If you are looking to relax, then try calming oils such as lavender, sandalwood, or pine.
Take a wet washcloth, and scent it with a few drops of your chosen essential oil. Place the washcloth into a corner on your shower floor and let the water run hot for a few minutes to steam up the room. This will disperse the scent and turn your shower into a calming, spa-like experience.
7. Avocado Hair Mask
This deep-conditioning treatment will leave hair soft and nourished. The fats in avocado help in repairing dry, damaged hair. The cream acts as an emollient that quickly penetrates hair. Honey balances the scalp's moisture level and acts as an antibacterial agent. You can also add a few drops of lavender essential oil, which keeps dandruff at bay.
Ingredients
- 1 avocado, peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon honey
Method
Puree the ingredients in a blender until smooth and apply to hair. Wrap your head in a cling wrap and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse well.
8. Cinnamon Lip Scrub
Complete your spa experience with this exfoliating lip scrub. Apart from adding a delicious flavor to savory foods as well as desserts, cinnamon has a plumping effect on lips. When used in this lip scrub, it creates a warming sensation that "plumps" the lips. The olive oil moisturizes lips and prevents free radical damage.
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- ½ tablespoon honey
Method
Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Apply this to lips with fingertips, gently massaging to slough off dead skin cells. Rinse with warm water and follow with a hydrating lip balm.
These at-home spa treatments are so effective that you may never visit a spa again!

Stop buying toxic hair products! Swap them with coconut, banana and avocado instead
This article is shared with permission from our friends at paleohacks.com.
Creating your own natural hair conditioner is a great way to provide your locks with much-needed nutrients. These homemade recipes rejuvenate your hair and scalp without stripping them of natural oils or overloading them with chemicals.
Plus, many of the ingredients in these homemade recipes are already stashed away in your kitchen cupboard. So, making them is not only easy but saves you money in the long run.
It’s vital to remember that the health of your hair starts from within. Eat wholesome, nutritious food, allowing the outside to radiate (i.e. your hair, nails and skin). Foods rich in Vitamin A, C E, iron, calcium and zinc will help to prevent dry, damaged and oily hair. Try sweet potato, lettuce, kale, broccoli, mango, papaya, tomatoes and pumpkin seeds to start.
Here are five DIY hair conditioners for healthy hair that you can start using in your weekly hair care regime.
Coconut Oil Conditioner
Coconut oil is a fantastic solution for dry, damaged hair, as it soothes the scalp and softens the hair. Honey is a natural humectant, a substance that attracts and retains moisture.
Prep Time:5 minutes
Yield: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
- 3 tablespoons coconut milk
Instructions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix together until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into an air-tight container. Store in a cool, dry place. (If you’re not using it all in one application, don’t worry. It keeps for a couple of weeks).
- Apply the mixture to wet hair and massage into the scalp, working your way to the ends of the hair. Leave for 2 to 5 minutes then rinse with water.
Lavender Moisturizing Paste
This is a great recipe for cleansing and moisturizing the hair. Sometimes referred to as the “no-poo” method (don’t worry this has nothing to do with your gut), since it also replaces traditional shampoo.
When you first start to use it, you may find your scalp and hair are oily. This is simply due to the transitional phase as your hair rids itself of the chemical build-up from commercial products. This is short-lived, so you’ll have to persevere in order to see your natural hair transform. Feel free to change the lavender for another essential oil to suit your preferred fragrance, or you can skip the oil altogether.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons bicarbonate of soda
- 2 to 4 tablespoons water, more if required
- 2 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions:
- Mix all of the ingredients together. Add more water if the mixture becomes too stiff.
- Pour into a lidded jar or bottle. Shake the mixture then apply to your wet hair. Start at the scalp, work through to the ends and massage fully into the hair. Rinse with water.
Apple Cider Vinegar to Balm
The acidity of apple cider vinegar helps maintain the pH balance of your hair and remove the build-up of dirt, dead skin cells and chemicals without stripping the hair of its natural oils.
This cider vinegar hair rinse is great for balancing the condition of hair, leaving you with smooth shiny hair cuticles. This works really well after the Lavender Moisturizing Paste.
Prep Time:5 minutes
Yield: 1
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 4 tablespoons water, more if required
- Optional: a few drops essential oil
Instructions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a lidded jar or bottle and shake well together.
- Apply to wet hair. Massage into the scalp through to the ends of the hair. Rinse the hair with water.
Banana Hair Mask
Bananas are a rich source of potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese, all of which are fantastic nutrients for supporting healthy hair. This is a quick and easy recipe that’s ideal for when you have extra bananas leftover. Use ripe bananas to get the best of the creamy nutrients which will maximize moisture.
Instructions:
- Mash the banana and avocado in a bowl.
- Add the coconut milk and mix together until fully combined.
- Massage into dry hair and leave for 15 minutes. You can put your hair in a clip or towel to lock in as much of the hair mask as possible.
- Rinse the hair mask from the hair with water then wash as usual.
Cocoa Butter Balm
Cocoa butter (also known as raw cacao butter) is a natural emulsifier and softener for skin and hair. Cocoa butter works wonders for reviving dry and damaged hair thanks to the nourishing fat content. If you have any leftover after applying to the hair, use the rest as a natural lotion for your skin (the aroma is heavenly).
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions:
- Firstly, melt the cocoa butter and coconut oil over a pot of lightly steaming water.
- Drop the essential oils into a separate boil, then add the melted cocoa butter, coconut oil, and almond oil.
- Stir everything together with a spoon, then pour into a small jar.
- Apply the hair balm to damaged ends then finish at the scalp. Leave for a couple of minutes then rinse with water or leave it in overnight, then rinse.
