5 Obvious Warning Signs The Universe Sends When You're On The Wrong Path

Receiving negative remarks from others.

Some people are nasty and that's just a fact of life, but it's when people really start to rebel against you and what you're doing that you should take pause. Of course, people slinging mud at you might also be because you're doing exactly what you should, society be damned.

An overall uneasy feeling.

I think this is an incredibly familiar feeling for everyone - it's just kind of a nasty gut feeling that things aren't right. When your gut is telling you that things aren't right, I think it's a safe bet that you aren't on the right path!

More anger than normal.

When you aren't on the right path, things tend to be considerably more difficult for you. As a result, you might find yourself quicker to anger than ever before. Of course, you can handle this anger through deep breathing exercises and other healthy things, but consider why it is you feel angry to begin with. Is it because you're not on the right path in life?

Headaches and illness.

When you're on the wrong path, the universe sends signals through your body. It manifests in headaches, compromised immune systems, and illness. When you're on the wrong path, your very being suffers.

Losing and breaking important things.

The final sign you are sent from the universe is the loss and breaking of things that are dear to you. They're omens, if you will, signs that you must change your path.

3 Ways To Increase Your Intuition - Tips To Reignite Your Third Eye

Intuition is the ability to sense a situation through non-logical means, often also called a “gut feeling.” This type of inner knowing can come in the form of images in your mind’s eye, or a voice in your head, or simply as an impression, perception, or feeling. Maybe you know who’s calling before you see their name on your caller ID, or can intuit an unfaithful partner or fraudulent boss. Perhaps you have a feeling your sister is sick, and when you call, she’s home with the flu. These are not coincidences; these are examples of your intuition at work.

An Innate Ability
Trust me, whether you realize it yet or not, you have innate intuitive abilities and are most likely using them in small ways every day. As a spiritual teacher and energy healer, I have heard countless stories from students about intuition at work, like a feeling to slow down right before a car accident takes place in front you, or a voice that tells you to go straight home and you discover later that the grocery store you had planned to stop at was robbed. Sometimes you may not find out the reason your gut sent you down a side street or otherwise gave you a message, but learning to trust your intuition will not only keep you walking your true soul path, but could literally save your life.

You already receive these types of “knowings” because the gift of intuition is present in your cellular memory. Intuition is often belittled or dismissed in our modern society that relies so heavily on tangible, left-brain proof, but thousands of years ago our ancestors knew the value of spiritual talents. These ancient people cultivated their intuition and other psychic abilities, and that knowledge is still available to you. Your intuition and ability to “see beyond” have been lying dormant within you since you were born—you just have to know how to wake those skills up.
Reignite Your Third Eye
Reigniting the fire of your third eye starts with your third eye chakra. Though intuition may be called a gut feeling, it is not your third chakra that governs it, but rather, your sixth. Your sixth or third eye chakra is the source of seeing, insight, thought, wisdom, and intuition—all forms of knowing. When your sixth chakra is cleared of negativity, charged, balanced, and spinning properly, your imagination and creativity will blossom, and your psychic sight and other spiritual talents, including intuition, will develop and grow, providing you with the wisdom you need to follow you true spiritual path.

On the other hand, a blocked or distorted sixth chakra can result in a disconnection from your intuition, and may prevent you from trusting what you see physically and with your third eye. Those “inner knowings” will decrease or disappear altogether, and you can easily lose your way without the guidance of your wise internal voice and gut perceptions. So you want to be sure your sixth chakra is healthy. Intuition can help to guide you on your spiritual path, but only if you’re able to perceive it!

Here are a few great ways to heal your sixth chakra, improve your intuition, and make sure you’re open enough to hear your internal wisdom.
1. Listen to the wise voice inside.

Intuition often appears as the small quiet voice of wisdom in your head, and your job is simply to listen for it and honor its gentle guidance with your actions. That voice represents the best parts of you, the deepest parts of your soul where all your best qualities are kept, so it will never steer you wrong. If you don’t hear that voice, it may be because it was silenced by trauma or stuck negative emotions or a closed sixth chakra. If you ignore that voice for too long, it can eventually clam up, but it’s never too late! Energy healing techniques like meditation and journaling can help release any limiting emotions in your body, chakras, and field, and help you learn to hear and trust your intuition again.

2. Practice visualizations.

Since the sixth chakra is all about sight, and intuition is about seeing beyond, visualizations both heal and develop the sixth chakra, and increase your intuitive powers. You can do this by creating images of random places or things to project on the internal screen of your mind, or you can picture yourself in specific situations, or imagine desired outcomes that you would like to manifest. Before you tackle a project or begin a new task, visualize positive results. Any way you do your visualizations, strengthening this skill improves all your sixth chakra processes of seeing and knowing.

3. Accept the truth.

A balanced sixth chakra helps you to see the truth, reinforcing the positive aspects of intuitive knowing. A blocked sixth chakra and weakened intuition make it difficult for you to see and accept the truth, which makes it nearly impossible to trust your intuitive perceptions. If there are issues in your life that you have avoided seeing, it may be time to release those blinders and open your eyes. Journaling is especially important for getting at your own personal truth, and other energy medicine techniques like meditation and connecting to nature will also allow you to listen to your inner guidance and hear the truth when it is given to you.

How To Hear Your Intuition Over Your Ego

The most common question I get in my workshops and lectures is, “How can I know the difference between my ego and my intuition?” My immediate response to is that we all have powerful intuition working through us at all times. {Tweet it} Our intuition is a kind, loving inner voice that guides us towards positive actions and peaceful outcomes. Often inspiration shows up as a strong knowing, a.k.a. a gut feeling. Sometimes intuitive guidance comes through as a powerful sense of inspiration or even a tingly sensation.
If you want to deepen your connection to your intuition a great resource is my book, Add More ~ing To Your Life, A Hip Guide to Happiness.

7 Ways To Trust Your Intuition (Even If You Don’t Think You Have Any)

7 Ways To Trust Your Intuition (Even If You Don't Think You Have Any)
Intuition everyone talks about it, but not everyone is aware of when they are having an intuitive flash. Whether you call it listening to your gut or tapping into your intuition or following your instinct, understanding how to pay attention to your natural knowing is a vital skill for success in business and life.
In fact, even the top CEOs and notable people like Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, Sir Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey and Warren Buffet have attributed part of their success to their “ah-ha!” moments.
Albert Einstein once said that it is our most valuable asset, and one of our most unused senses.
Now, you may think that you don’t have the intuitive gift, but that’s just not true. We’re all intuitively wired. It is our most natural biological function. Each of us has our own “feeling” of what is worthwhile and right for our lives, and you’d certainly like to learn how to tap in to the infinite power of your intuition, but you don’t know how to do it.
So, here are seven actionable ways to tune into your gut.
1) Listen to a physical reaction
Do you have butterflies in your stomach? Goose bumps? Did you experience physiological responses, like queasiness, shortness of breath, sneezing or a headache?
Your body is a powerful intuitive communicator. There’s a reason it’s called a “gut feeling”. If you experience nagging thoughts and feelings of suspicion, anxiety, doubt, curiosity or wonder for a particular situation, it’s up to you to follow them and see where they’ll lead. Listening to your body’s subtle signals is a critical part of exercising your intuitive sense.
2) Meditate
Close the door. Turn off the phone. Shut down your computer and take a few deep, slow breaths to relax your body. Meditation is one of the most powerful practices that, in my opinion, every human on the planet should take up. The first reason why most of us can’t hear our intuition, is because our mind is like a drunken crazy monkey.
Clearing your mind of repetitive thoughts and worries is one of the best ways to listen to your inner voice. When meditating, be still while fully immersing yourself in the flowing torrent of your own mind. Let your thoughts roam and be open to the ideas and solutions that come to you.
3) Ask your inner wisdom for guidance
Whether you call it, God, Universe or Cosmic Consciousness, each of us has access to an unlimited infinite source of wisdom. So, if you’ve found yourself stuck in a certain situation, simply ask for guidance. Pose an inner question to yourself and really pay attention to signals and patterns that may arise. Be open minded.
Inwardly pose a question to yourself, like “Why am I here? What message was I brought here to share with other people? Is this life path right for me?” Stay open to any flashes, sensations or impressions you receive.
4) Tune into higher vibrations
Every single thought and word that comes into your head and out of your mouth has an impact on the world around and within you. Every thought or feeling has a vibration that can be measured. By learning to raise these vibrations you will be able to connect with your inner wisdom. People who speak about their vibration and their intuition comfortably experience it very regularly.
5) Stop and take a moment
The goal here is to take a moment to quiet your mind and bring yourself into the present moment. Sitting at your desk trying to hammer out a solution to a project won’t allow your intuition to turn on, while stepping away from your pc, getting out of the office and doing something that has nothing to do with work can help you tune in to your powers of intuition.
Steve Jobs was known to take long walks when stuck on a problem to experience a moment of real clarity. That clarity is like a fresh breath of pure inspiration. So, no matter what you are doing, take a break and jump, dance, go for a run or have a nice long walk.
 6) Pay attention to your dreams
Intuition is the language of dreams. Research shows that during dream-time the brain does creative problem-solving, which can help you make the right choice in your waking life. Before you go to sleep each night, reflect upon questions and issues for which you couldn’t find solutions during the day, such as “How can I fix that problem?”.
Think about and explore different possibilities. This will trigger your imagination and put your subconscious to work at furnishing you with creative solutions while you sleep. If you’re attuned to your dreams, you can get a lot of information about how to live your life. The next morning, immediately write down any dreams or great ideas you remember before getting out of bed. Then see if and how the dream answered your question.
7) Keep an intuition journal
Meditation, dreams and long walks can bring up lots of insights, so it’s a good idea to track every thoughts or “feeling” you experienced. Write down questions or concerns, then take a deep breath and listen for a response from your inner wisdom. Let yourself write automatically.
Next time you are having difficulty making a decision, pick up a pen and some paper and let the words flow out of you. Reflect on the situation, explore those feelings, and consider the bigger picture. By regularly recording your thoughts can be a wonderful catalyst for removing blocks and letting your intuitive voice lead the way.
Your intuition is your inner guide. If you don’t listen to it, you are not living at your full potential. Intuition unleashes your creativity and imagination, puts you in touch with your subconscious power and helps you make better and more integrative decisions. Developing your intuition is like learning any new skill. The more you practice, the better you get at it. So, be patient. Results don’t always happen right away. Like exercising any muscles, start off slowly and gradually build your “intuitive muscle.”
