Are you struggling to answer – What is my purpose?
Your purpose is all around you, lives in you, breathes through you and dances alongside you. All you have to do is allow it to guide and show you the way.
I believe we have both a higher purpose and an inner purpose.
Inner Purpose
Your inner purpose is the stuff you live and breathe every day. It is your energy, it is your vision, your voice and your actions. It holds all the things that your energy has come here to achieve on a day to day level.
Your inner purpose is expressed through-
- The family you were born into
- The body you were born with
- The circumstances that surround you
- Your natural talents, passions and gifts
- Your karma
Your inner purpose is very much in your hands, and it is up to you to direct the flow of its energy.
It can never truly be off track, because everything that you create in your life is part of your inner purpose. There is no wrong turn, no wrong move, everything that flows from you is meant to be part of your inner purpose.
Your inner purpose may be hard to feel or determine. It is something that only becomes real once you tune into it. Once you realise that your purpose is all around you and flows from within, you will start to feel it unfolding in your life.
Your inner purpose is essentially everything that you are, because you are perfect just as you are. You need not do anything to acquire your inner purpose because everything you are doing is already your inner purpose.
Through just living, breathing, walking and thinking you are fulfilling your inner purpose.
Higher Purpose
Your higher purpose is the mission that your soul was sent here to achieve. It is determined before you come into your physical body and is the ultimate goal of your soul.
Your higher purpose is written on your soul contract and is the over-arching force of your life. When you start tapping into your higher purpose, you join in the flow and rhythm of life.
Essentially we achieve our higher purpose through our inner purpose. In many ways, it is like the higher purpose feeds the inner purpose. When you can align the two, that is when the magic really happens.
What your higher purpose is cannot really be described in words. Words go beyond your higher purpose, however I believe that there are three main higher purposes.
(There maybe be more than just three core higher purposes, but these are the ones that have been revealed to me on my journey.)
The 3 Higher Purposes:
- To Heal
- To Deliver a Message
- To Bring Revolution
These higher purposes do not dictate the type of career or lifestyle that you will have (that is your inner purpose).
A criminal can be a healer, a musician can deliver a message and a bank manager can bring revolution. There are no rules with how your higher purpose can be delivered into the world.
Your higher purpose is what your soul has come here to achieve and your inner purpose dictates how that higher purpose is presented to the world.
Those who have come to heal are here to spread compassion, peace, health, nourishment and care for all living things, including the planet.
Those who have to deliver a message are here to unlock the wisdom of their heart in order to teach, guide or bring information into the world.
Those who have come to bring revolution are here to change things, uproot things and bring about a new idea or a new way of doing things.
All these higher purposes may be interrelated in some way, as we are all here to work together as humans on this planet. Ultimately, our souls are here to spread love and our higher purpose is how we achieve that.
Your higher purpose is often revealed to you when you start following your bliss and tune into who you really are. In fact, all it takes for you to realise your higher purpose is to be your true, authentic self.
