The Present is a short animated film created by Jacob Frey. It has won over 50 Awards and played at over 180 film festivals. The film centers around a young man playing video games when his mother comes home.
The sounds of gunfire and explosions are only stopped when the boy is presented with a present.
It's simplicity and well presented style are what really sell the video outside of the plot. Minimal dialogue and great choreographing of the characters give the scene a completely believable feel. The video was based off a web comic called Mentirinhas by Fabio Coala.
