Is Someone Calling You Weird? 3 Reasons Why It’s A Massive Compliment

Is someone calling you weird?

I love it when someone calls me weird, I smile and say thank you. There are three reasons why I take this as a huge compliment.

1. “Weird” also means “unique”

When they look perplexed I just tell them the dictionary definition of the word:
Weird: suggesting something supernatural; uncanny; the weird crying of a seal
• informal very strange; bizarre: a weird coincidence
 • archaic connected with fate, a person’s destiny.verb [ with obj. ] (weird someone out) informal induce a sense of disbelief in someone.
ORIGIN Old English wyrd ‘destiny,’ of Germanic origin. The adjective (late Middle English) originally meant ‘having the power to control destiny,’ and was used esp. in the Weird Sisters, originally referring to the Fates, later the witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth; the latter use gave rise to the sense ‘unearthly’ (early 19th cent).
In my mind, “weird” stands for wise, exciting, intuitive, revolutionary, and different.
That’s the first reason it’s a compliment.

2. You’re more connected to your authentic self

So now let’s take a look at the word “supernatural.”
Supernatural: Attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature: a supernatural being.
• unnaturally or extraordinarily great: a woman of supernatural beauty.
As you can see it is made up of two words “super” and “natural.” To be connected to the “super-natural” means to be connected to your God given birth right, which contains the complete authenticity and co-creative power of who you are.
That’s the second reason being supernaturally weird is a MASSIVE compliment.

3. Embracing your “weirdness” heightens your intuition

In today’s world, we can find it hard to connect to who we are and the power of our nature, and this is where the Tarot comes in.
The Tarot is an ancient part of our culture, like Stone Henge or the Pyramids (except it is small and easily transported). Just like the word “supernatural, we just need to be non-judgmental enough to liberate it and as we do we liberate ourselves. That’s the way we can finally gain understanding, then confusion, pain and fear no longer exist.
Being a top class intuitive reader isn’t about memerizing meanings. It’s a rite of passage, one that leads you through many doorways of your own soul.
A mysterious maze full of mirrored twists and turns that can, at times, leave you feeling more like a pinball wizard than a witch that is connected to the natural rhythms of life, ancestry, divine timing and synchronicity.
Sometimes, so many impressions come in it is hard to sort the wheat from the chaff, believing in yourself becomes full of it’s own challenges, and when self-belief goes array, so does everything else.
All that’s needed is some quickfire ways to clean your visionary glasses. The wisdom is always there, but the external can cloud it.

Sometimes in life we get caught up in others projections that aren’t necessarily true, it’s so easy to think you need to do something about this and often that makes it worse. It’s like trying to run full steam ahead with your murky weird witchy woo woo glasses on, you can’t see clearly.
The first thing to do is recognize that this muck on your glasses is not yours. Step back and if you can go and take a bath with rock salt in to cleanse your aura.
If you can’t do that, then still step back and imagine the sun beaming down on you, filling you up with gorgeously new radiantly clean cells, all buzzing and bursting with beautiful clean fresh energy, so much so your weird witchy woo-woo glasses are born anew!
If you practice Tarot, then take out The Sun and carry it around with you for the day to cement this magical deed and to remind you to breath it’s wonderfully purifying energy in throughout the day).

Finally, hand it over to the universe, the power of silence, of letting go, of being transparent and still being you tends to turn everything around for the better.
